Nomatic Travel Bag 40L Review

I ordered the Nomatic Travel Bag 40L, and the whole process was quite smooth. The website was easy to navigate, and checkout was straightforward. Shipping took about five days to reach me in California, which was within the estimated timeframe. The bag itself arrived well-packaged. I've used it on two trips now, and the quality is impressive; the zippers feel robust, and the material seems durable. All the compartments are really well thought out, especially the dedicated shoe pocket. Customer support wasn't needed, so I can't speak to that directly. Overall, a solid piece of gear that lives up to its descriptions.

McKinnon Camera Pack 35L worked

Got the McKinnon Camera Pack 35L. It fit all my gear perfectly. The internal dividers are customizable. It's comfortable to wear, even when fully loaded. No complaints, it does what it's supposed to.

Solid backpack, minor issue

I bought the Nomatic Backpack and it's mostly great. The organization is fantastic, really helps keep things tidy, especially with the separate tech pockets. It feels durable, and the material seems like it will hold up well to daily use. Delivery was fine, got it in about a week. My only small gripe is that the shoulder straps felt a little stiff at first; they softened up after a few uses, but it was noticeable. For the price, I expected immediate comfort. Still, a very functional bag, and I use it daily for work.

Good for quick trips

I got the Nomatic Travel Pack for a weekend trip. It held everything I needed, no problem. Super easy to carry around the airport. It's built pretty solid too. Glad I picked this one up.

Hey, does anyone know if they do any kind of discount for new customers? About to pull the trigger on a Navigator Backpack.

N Nina 2 months ago

I think so? I got like 10% off my first order when I signed up for their email list a while back.

B Ben 2 months ago

They usually have a first-order deal, yeah. Check the website or just sign up for their newsletter, usually pops up then. It's not a huge discount but every bit helps.

Thinking of grabbing the Nomatic Travel Pack, but I'm worried about it fitting under the seat on a plane. Anyone have issues with that?

E Emma J. 1 month ago

Nah, I've flown with mine a bunch. It tucks in fine on most domestic flights, even with it pretty packed. Might depend on the airline a little, but generally good.

I Ivy 1 month ago

Yeah it fits, just don't overstuff the top part too much. For smaller regional jets it can be a bit snug but I've never had to gate check it or anything.

Nomatic Travel Pack vs Peak Design Travel Backpack. Trying to decide which one to get for an upcoming trip. Any thoughts?

M Marcus Kim 1 month ago

Oh man, tough one. Nomatic feels a bit more structured and 'business' travel to me, while Peak Design is super flexible with all its internal compartments. What kind of trip are you doing?

E Emma Romero 1 month ago

I went with Nomatic because I liked the clamshell opening better and it felt a bit more durable. Peak Design is cool but I found the Nomatic just fit my stuff better for longer trips.

can you stack coupon codes? i have a student discount but also saw a deal for a specific bundle. wondering if i can use both.

M Mia Foster 2 months ago

Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code at a time. I tried to use a holiday deal with my military discount and it wouldn't let me.

B Ben G. 2 months ago

Yeah, I think their policy is one code per order. You usually have to pick the best discount for what you're buying. Sucks but that's how most places do it.

How's the return process if I get a bag and it's not quite what I expected? Easy or a pain?

C Cleo Okafor 2 months ago

Pretty straightforward. I returned a sling bag last year, just filled out the online form and sent it back. Got my refund quickly, no hassles.

R Rachel 2 months ago

Yeah, I've heard good things about their returns. I haven't done one myself but my buddy said it was fine, just make sure you keep the tags and original packaging, afaik.
